Residence Permit for Investment (Golden Visa) is in force since the 8th of October, 2012 and enables third country nationals to obtain a temporary residence permit in Portugal to conduct investment activities in Portugal with a Visa waiver to enter in Portuguese territory.

Among other benefits, the Golden Visa allows to live and work in Portugal and to move freely in the Schengen area.
