One of the changes introduced introduced by Law no. 18/2022, of 25 August to the legal regime of entry, stay, exit and expulsion of foreigners from the national territory was the creation of a visa for digital nomads.

This visa is granted to subordinate workers and independent professionals who intend to exercise their professional activity remotely, to individuals or legal entities with residence or head office outside national territory.
