It is already possible to perform AUTHENTIC Acts AT A DISTANCE by videoconference, through the Distance Service Platform, available on the Justice Portal.

The platform was presented by the Minister of Justice, Catarina Sarmento and Castro, on October 28.

☑ With this service, citizens will be able to #escrituras, special procedures for the transmission, oneption and registration of #imóveis (Casa Pronta), #divórcios by mutual consent, separation of persons and property by mutual consent, #habilitações of heirs with and without records and face-to-face recognition, among other acts, by videoconference, without the need to move.
▶ Stakeholders may apply for this service by appointment (in agendamento.justica.gov.pt) or from a qualified professional, including conservatives and registration officers, lawyers, notaries, solicitors and consular officers.
After scheduling by these professionals and sending electronic notifications to participants, citizens will have to authenticate on the platform, using the Citizen Card (CC) or the Digital Mobile Key (CMD).
▶ In order to perform an act by videoconference, in acts that require signature, it will also be necessary to have the digital signature active (through the CC, CMD or qualified certificate), as well as have access to a computer or device with internet connection, microphone, sound and camera.
Professionals, whether participants or titters, authenticate themselves with certificates of professional orders or, in the case of conservatives or bailiffs, with the authentication of the Ministry of Justice.
