This weekend we were in Funchal (#madeiraisland) to attend the Annual Conference of the AIDV-IWLA – International Wine Law Association.

The AIDV-IWLA is the world's largest network of lawyers and jurists connected to the Vine and Wine Law. The annual meeting took place in Madeira and discussed topics such as labelling, advertising, e-commerce, counterfeiting and the new challenges related to the Metaverse. There was also room for analysis of legislation and jurisprudence on intellectual property, as well as new regulatory proposals for the sector.

Rodrigo Jardim Gonçalves attended the event, representing JGSA - Jardim Gonçalves & Associados, which has in Vine and Wine Law one of its areas of expertise and which is part of AIDV-IWLA since 2017.
